Ed Drake


Born in London, Ed Drake took up skiing at the age of just two & was once sidelined for 20 months after a hip injury.

As an alpine skier he won the giant slalom & the combined at the 2008 & 2009 British Championships before representing Team GB in alpine skiing at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games with his highest-placed finish being 29th in the super combined.

Ed switched from alpine skiing to ski cross in 2013, became British ski cross champion & then launched the UK’s first ski cross club in 2014.
